Not Legalizing Poker Online in US Is Travesty
Many Americans play online poker (among some other casino games), and yet United States government that deems illegal. Fact they do is just ridiculous and, actually, makes no sense. Instead of regulating and legalizing poker online to get millions of dollars revenue for country, government forces online football betting players ship the money offshore to the countries, which can gladly take money.
Government will not prevent many of us to play and they force the banks to block gambling transactions online, it does not any good. And all we need to do is just get the prepaid Visa card and deposit funds in the poker account by different avenues. Thus, when United States government may think that they are all doing part to prevent us to play the american players accepted game, and they are not. Only thing that they do is make that more of pain in backside to deposit money.
The poker is game of skill, and not the game of odds like a lot of people believe. Also, there is no reason that it must not get legalized to play it online, especially considering that it is legal in the casinos. I also have heard argument from the advocates it will take away from local casino revenues. Also, I don’t buy this because, as if I have stated, many Americans are playing online poker. In case, they legalize, I will not expect 2% of increase in the number of players that are playing on internet. Other argument is fear of a lot of people that are becoming very much addicted to game. To this I ask, doesn't the personal responsibility matter?
Poker online is fun, and it is good game of skill, there is no reason as why it is totally illegal in United States. And hopefully the government can eventually see errors in online poker philosophy & instead to force to ship money off to some other countries, and make that legal to play on internet as well as begin generating millions of dollars in the revenue just by taxing it & bringing offshore companies over to help to boost economy.
